Chemical Engineering Spring Co-op

Location: Corpus Christi, Texas, United States. Regular full-time schedule of 40 hours per week; hands-on work in a chemical plant.

What you will do

• Work with experienced engineering professionals on improvement and expansion projects.
• Assist operations and maintenance teams with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem solving.
• Participate in process safety management activities and reviews.
• Contribute to engineering team meetings and conference calls.
• Further develop process technology through real-time engineering work in the plant.

Requirements

• Be enrolled at an accredited college or university as a junior or above at the time of assignment.
• Pursue an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering or a similar field.
• Have familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Immigration sponsorship, including H-1B, F-1 OPT, TN, or other non-immigrant status sponsorship, is not available.

• Participation in relevant activities, organizations, and projects beyond the classroom.
• GPA of 3.2 or above.
• Enthusiasm for working in a chemical plant.
