HR Generalist (Automotive)

Location: Riverside, Missouri, USA; onsite at the manufacturing plant

What you will do

• Support recruiting, screening, interviewing, background checks, job offers, and orientation for hourly and salaried employees.
• Maintain personnel databases, service records, inactive employee records, and required HR reports.
• Administer employee benefits, respond to inquiries, resolve problems, and explain medical insurance and pension systems.
• Coordinate FMLA/FLA leave, employee transactions, training, special events, and monthly HR reporting.
• Support EEO-1/VETS-100 reporting, AAP, EEOC, immigration, safety, and other compliance activities.
• Assist with employee investigations, discharge processes, policies, procedures, merit budget administration, and HR project work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or an equivalent qualification.
• At least three years of experience in a similar position and strong knowledge of personnel systems.
• Leadership ability and the ability to provide direction effectively.
• Knowledge of Kronos, Access, Lotus Notes, and PeopleSoft.
• Experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work onsite in Riverside, Missouri, USA.
