Z Dock Supervisor (Furniture)

Location: Chesterfield, Missouri, United States; onsite warehouse role

What you will do

• Supervise general warehouse operations and a team of up to 3–10 warehouse employees.
• Schedule inbound and outbound arrivals and maintain a constant dock presence to inspect work in progress.
• Lead, motivate, train, coach, and evaluate warehouse personnel.
• Ensure efficient shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution while protecting inventory against loss.
• Maintain safety, security, and cleanliness throughout the facility and property.
• Support unloading, loading, deluxing, minor furniture repairs, and other warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with 4–6 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Understanding of safe receiving, storing, requisition, shipping, and delivery procedures.
• Basic knowledge of inventory procedures and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, operate industry equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to travel up to 5% and meet the company’s Driver Management Program qualifications if driving is required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• Furniture repair and home delivery experience.
