What you will do
- Manage cash application, customer account controls, payment follow-up, and receivables records.
- Support credit management by monitoring payment habits, assessing customer risk, and ensuring compliance with credit parameters.
- Prepare collection results, monthly accounts receivable reports, and related analysis for management.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including general ledger maintenance and intercompany AR/AP reconciliations.
- Support compliance with global accounting standards, statutory audits, and internal control procedures.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- University or college degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
- Proficiency in English and Japanese.
- Knowledge of accounts receivable, accounting laws, regulations, standards, and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of US company reporting systems and ERP platforms, preferably JD Edwards One World.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
