Salary: USD $91,707–$149,386 per year, plus potential participation in an annual discretionary bonus program.

What you will do
- Lead project management, delivery, and execution for existing and new strategic clients.
- Manage solicitation requests, proposal responses, capture strategies, and project delivery teams.
- Collaborate with operations on go/no-go decisions, staffing, and assembling execution teams.
- Grow key accounts and develop cross-sector business opportunities in environmental compliance, power, field services, and infrastructure.
- Build relationships with clients, government agencies, community stakeholders, and internal practice groups.
- Mentor environmental planning specialists and support recruiting to expand PPL capabilities in the Western region.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- 15–20 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting, project siting, environmental policy, regulations, and permitting.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams, subcontractors, vendors, and complex multimedia projects.
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, including coastal development and onshore, coastal, and offshore permitting.
- Strong verbal, written, presentation, time-management, and coordination skills.
- Ability to present to clients, government agency personnel, and community stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree or higher.
- 20 or more years of experience.
- Project management experience on large-scale projects.
- Senior Director experience.
