Data Analyst (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, or Hudson, Ohio, United States. Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.

What you will do

• Extract, clean, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources using SQL and Excel.
• Identify patterns, trends, customer behaviors, operational metrics, and business opportunities.
• Build reports, dashboards, templates, queries, and repeatable analytical workflows.
• Translate complex findings into clear recommendations for sales, operations, product, finance, and leadership.
• Validate analyses, document methodologies and assumptions, and improve analytical accuracy and consistency.
• Explore AI tools and emerging analytical methods to reduce manual work and improve insight quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, mathematics, economics, business, engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, financial analysis, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, visualization, and analysis.
• Ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches and explain findings to non-technical audiences.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
• Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization and BI platforms.
• Experience in SaaS, healthcare, subscription, or managed service business models.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT.
• Experience developing dashboards and repeatable analytical processes.
