Apprentice Technician (HVAC)

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States; field-based work conducted on-site at customer locations.

Hourly base pay: $25.77–$39.88.

What you will do

• Assist experienced service technicians with installing and repairing environmental control systems.
• Service equipment and systems at customer locations by identifying, examining, diagnosing, and planning repairs.
• Coordinate with supervising field technicians, project managers, and customers on on-site installation requirements.
• Forecast potential issues, gather materials, and synchronize work at customer sites.
• Use software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
• Enforce high safety standards and maintain accountability for company assets.

Requirements

• No industry experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old on the first day of employment.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations in the previous three years.
• Strong desire to learn the HVAC trade and make a direct impact.

Nice to have

• Technical school certificates, formal HVAC training, or previous HVAC experience.
