Materials Associate, Men's

Location: HQ - Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY; 100% on-site

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 annually

What you will do

• Support the sourcing and development of fabrics and specialty materials for apparel, graphics, collaborations, and seasonal projects.
• Coordinate with Design, Product Development, Production, Technical Design, mills, factories, suppliers, and vendors.
• Track material approvals, including lab dips, strike-offs, knit-downs, handlooms, sample yardage, prints, jacquards, colors, artwork, and bulk submissions.
• Maintain material calendars, WIP reports, approval trackers, pricing, MOQs, lead times, country-of-origin data, testing requirements, and supplier information.
• Coordinate shipments, allocations, routing updates, documentation, invoices, and logistics issue resolution.
• Prepare material boards and presentations, participate in fittings and milestone reviews, and document approvals and production handoff notes.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in raw materials or materials development.
• Solid understanding of garment construction; men's experience is preferred.
• Experience working with overseas factories, mills, and vendors.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, prioritization, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PLM systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Sheets.
