Gemstones Coordinator

Location: New York, NY; onsite, full-time

Estimated salary: $65,000–$80,000 annually

What you will do

• Manage and document incoming and outgoing gemstone samples, high jewelry stones, and repairs throughout the product lifecycle.
• Maintain records of sample locations, status, ownership, gemstone specifications, certifications, and SKUs in PLM.
• Coordinate sample distribution, purchase orders, sales orders, vendor fulfillment, and deliveries.
• Track stone orders and ETAs, communicating delays, risks, and updates to internal stakeholders.
• Control loose-stone and sample-library inventory, conduct audits, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Partner with High Jewelry and Mainline Design teams on product development, launches, and special projects.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of hands-on experience in a similar position.
• Minimum two years of hands-on experience with inventory control.
• Knowledge of jewelry construction, gemstones, diamonds, silver, and gold.
• Strong communication skills and close attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• College degree required; ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• GIA certification or relevant experience.
• Experience using a microscope for jewelry inspection.
• Experience with Monday.com and PLM tracking systems.
