Converting Operator (Manufacturing)

Location: 3011 Independence Dr, Fort Wayne, IN 46808, USA. Onsite, second shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday; shift rotation may be required.

What you will do

• Perform standard and moderately complex set-ups and operations on flexographic presses.
• Support printing, shade and tone variation, registration, and multiple die-cutting operations.
• Interpret order specifications and sort, label, inspect, and package finished goods for shipment.
• Prepare materials, tools, plates, ink stations, and setup support for machine operators.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, 5S activities, and safety housekeeping.
• Coordinate production information and participate in quality, productivity, problem-solving, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to work safely, maintain quality standards, identify root causes, and communicate issues effectively.
• Willingness to work overtime, including short-notice requests.
• Proficiency with computer applications.
• Successful completion of a post-offer background check and drug screening is required.
