Billing Agent (Facturista) - Customs Brokerage

What you will do

• Ensure smooth and timely import and export customs process flow.
• Prepare accurate and timely client billing and enter data into the operating system.
• Track and trace customs files and verify import and export documentation.
• Apply customs procedures, internal standards, government regulations, and customer requirements.
• Communicate with internal and overseas contacts, respond to requests, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Complete required annual training and support continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of customs brokerage processes and systems.
• Understanding of ocean, transcon, and air documentation processes, as well as air, road, and ocean transportation.
• Basic accounting knowledge and good computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Basic English, effective communication skills, and strong organizational abilities.
