Location: New York City, NY; onsite at Radio City Music Hall and occasionally off-site facilities

What you will do

  • Execute physical production elements including lighting, scenic elements, fly moves, and talent moves in sequence.
  • Operate and direct the four stage elevators during load-in, rehearsals, and performances.
  • Conduct stage safety checks, establish physical barriers, and make required verbal announcements.
  • Coordinate with visiting stage managers, tour managers, talent, stage crews, and Radio City Production Management.
  • Follow performance tracks, complete pre-set activities, and maintain stage activity and show-timing logs.
  • Remain on call from the beginning of the crew call through the end of the workday while posting work hours and meal breaks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of stage management experience in a theater environment.
  • Experience working directly with artists, performers, and stage management teams in live environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, take direction from internal departments, and maintain professional relationships with diverse groups.
  • Required to join the American Guild of Variety Artists (AGVA).
  • Must be able to stand for the full shift, lift up to 50 lbs, and climb stairs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
