Senior Manufacturing Technician (Biologics)

Location: Framingham, Massachusetts, United States; onsite, 12-hour rotating schedule

Salary: $24–$32 per hour

What you will do

• Operate production equipment and perform processing steps according to manufacturing instructions, written procedures, and current GMPs.
• Complete production documentation, revise SOPs, generate work orders, and maintain accurate manufacturing records.
• Maintain safe, clean, orderly, and properly stocked production areas.
• Perform in-process analytical testing, apply aseptic techniques, and troubleshoot basic mechanical operations.
• Use manufacturing automation systems including INFOR, MES, ERP, and DeltaV.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Validation, and other support functions, and mentor less experienced operators.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus at least 1 year of experience in a cGxP manufacturing environment, or a biotech certificate or associate degree with no prior experience.
• Understanding of GMP requirements and their application to manufacturing responsibilities.
• Ability to follow verbal and written procedures and accurately complete production documentation.
• General knowledge of process automation systems and aseptic manufacturing techniques.
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating schedule in an onsite manufacturing facility.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology.
• Experience using process automation systems to operate production processes, particularly DeltaV.
