Full Stack Software Architect (Sr. Consultant), Generative AI

Location: US - Bellevue, WA; at least 3 days per week in the office required. Travel required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $173,100–$276,800 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentives where applicable.

What you will do

• Own the architecture and technical strategy for large-scale generative AI and agentic platforms supporting critical business workflows.
• Define architectural decisions across application, data, integration, security, and infrastructure domains.
• Design AI-powered systems using large language models, agent orchestration, retrieval frameworks, and enterprise integrations.
• Establish reference architectures, reusable design patterns, engineering standards, and platform capabilities for AI-native applications.
• Architect multi-agent collaboration, tool orchestration, memory management, workflow execution, state management, and enterprise service integration.
• Guide production engineering practices including telemetry, tracing, evaluation, monitoring, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, testing, and operational readiness.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, 5+ years with an advanced degree, 2+ years with a PhD, or 11+ years without a degree.
• At least 8 years designing, building, and operating complex distributed software systems in production.
• Strong background in software architecture, distributed systems, API design, cloud-native platforms, and data-intensive applications.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containerized environments, CI/CD systems, and observability tooling.
• Hands-on experience with React and backend development using Python, Node.js, Java, or similar languages.
• Ability to work from the Bellevue office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-enabled, data-driven, workflow automation, search, conversational, or machine learning applications.
• Experience with generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, or agentic systems.
• Experience driving technical strategy and influencing architecture across organizations.
• Knowledge of agent frameworks, retrieval architectures, memory systems, tool orchestration, MCP, and A2A frameworks.
