CNC Technician I (CNC Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Set and operate CNC lathes to meet production, quality, and delivery requirements.
• Program CNC lathes when DNC access or programming support is unavailable.
• Review drawings and specifications, adjust tooling offsets, and maintain required tolerances.
• Perform in-process inspections using CMMs, conventional measuring equipment, gauges, and shadowgraphs.
• Resolve minor machining issues, complete production records, and report equipment or material problems.
• Support self-directed work teams, job rotation, cross-training, and Lean Six Sigma improvement activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Experience setting, operating, and programming CNC equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use measuring equipment, gauges, and instruments and interpret technical drawings.
• Working knowledge of CNC tooling offsets and manufacturing mathematics.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to stand and walk frequently and lift or carry up to 25 pounds without assistance.
