Tax Manager

Location: Hybrid, based in Helsinki, Finland

hirify.global is building a full-stack AI cloud spanning data centers, hardware, and a cloud platform for AI teams.

What you will do

• Own tax filing obligations across relevant jurisdictions and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for direct and indirect tax matters across the business.
• Partner with Finance and Legal on expansion and new market entry.
• Build relationships with external tax advisors and determine when specialist support is needed.
• Develop scalable tax processes, documentation, and controls.
• Identify tax optimization opportunities and support mergers and acquisitions by assessing tax issues and risks.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of professional tax experience, ideally including Big Four experience.
• Strong knowledge of European tax filing and compliance requirements.
• Experience analyzing tax implications in mergers and acquisitions.
• Ability to operate independently as the sole tax specialist within a broader finance team.
• Initiative to build processes and judgment to escalate issues or engage external advisors when necessary.
