Azure DevOps Engineer

Location: Fully remote within the United States

What you will do

• Lead discovery, inventory validation, and migration execution across Azure DevOps Services.
• Analyze, update, and re-register multi-stage YAML pipelines in Azure Repos.
• Configure self-hosted build agents and custom agent pools across Windows and Linux environments.
• Automate discovery, validation, configuration, and audit evidence collection using APIs and scripts.
• Test integrations with JFrog Artifactory, MATLAB/Simulink extensions, and other build tools.
• Troubleshoot migration issues, execute production cutovers, and provide post-migration stabilization and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience focused on Azure DevOps Services.
• 3+ years building, configuring, and troubleshooting Azure Repos and YAML-based CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience managing self-hosted build agents and agent pools.
• Strong scripting and automation skills with PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python, or Azure DevOps REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps permissions, variable groups, secure files, service connections, credentials, certificates, and extensions.
• Ability to execute structured test plans, analyze failure logs, follow migration runbooks, and work independently.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating JFrog Artifactory with Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink extensions and embedded software build toolchains.
• Experience managing Windows and Linux build servers, proxy configurations, SSL/TLS certificates, and private network routing.
• Consulting or large-scale enterprise migration experience.
