Regional Director, US Field Medical - East (Biopharma)

Location: Fully remote and can be performed from anywhere; occasional travel for team meetings or events and frequent travel of up to 80% required.

Salary: $204,000–$278,000 annual.

What you will do

• Directly manage Medical Science Liaison team members, including leadership, performance management, recruiting, training, coaching, and field activity direction.
• Design, develop, and implement field medical strategy across PAH, PH-ILD, IPF, and PPF.
• Lead Medical Affairs, R&D, Clinical Development, and corporate projects while aligning cross-functional goals and workstreams.
• Develop MSL goals and territory medical action plans; monitor, measure, and report progress and results.
• Capture, synthesize, and deliver scientific insights from healthcare professionals to hirify.global.
• Build relationships with healthcare professionals, organizations, providers, and partners while ensuring compliance with company policies, SOPs, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Advanced degree such as PharmD, MD, DO, PhD, PA, or NP.
• At least 5 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic experience and at least 5 years of MSL and/or MSL leadership experience.
• Experience leading field-based medicine or Medical Affairs projects and mentoring MSLs.
• Strong presentation, interpersonal, negotiation, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of the PhRMA Code of Conduct, Sunshine Act, HIPAA, promotional regulations, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 80%.

Nice to have

• Biotechnology experience in Medical Information, Medical Strategy, or clinical trial management.
• Personnel management experience involving coaching, leadership, and personnel development.
