Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack (Fintech)

Location: Remote within the United States. Candidates must already be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship and immigration support are not available.

What you will do

• Lead frontend modernization by designing modular, testable, accessible React applications and contributing to shared design systems.
• Own the experience layer, including responsive layouts, accessibility, client-side performance, loading and error states, and complex customer workflows.
• Build full-stack features by extending versioned .NET APIs, refactoring service boundaries, and replacing legacy .NET code.
• Design and tune SQL queries, indexes, schemas, and transactional workflows across PostgreSQL and related data systems.
• Use Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar AI agents for migrations, refactoring, test generation, documentation, and review workflows.
• Partner with product, UX, analysts, stakeholders, DevOps, and engineering to deliver secure, reliable software and predictable milestones.

Requirements

• 5+ years building and shipping production software.
• Deep experience with React and Next.js, or comparable Angular expertise with the ability to lead React development.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, HTML, CSS, browser performance, accessibility, testing, and build and release tooling.
• Production experience with C# and modern .NET, including reading, extending, and refactoring service code.
• Experience with SQL, API design, versioning, authentication, reliability, testing, and cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.
• Daily practical use of AI coding agents for multi-file refactoring, migrations, test generation, and engineering workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience leading frontend modernization, design systems, component libraries, or micro-frontend architecture.
• Legacy ASP.NET or .NET Framework modernization experience.
• Experience with Kafka, event-driven architectures, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, feature flags, canary deployments, or progressive delivery.
• Background in healthcare, fintech, payments, or other regulated domains.
