VP, Commercial Real Estate Loan Operations

Location: Overland Park, Kansas, United States

Annual base salary: $100,000–$145,000, with potential discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Manage an assigned loan operations function and oversee daily operations for commercial real estate loan portfolios.
• Monitor workflow, staffing levels, task assignments, deadlines, and equitable distribution of work.
• Support asset management teams with borrower, investor, and third-party research requests.
• Supervise, mentor, train, and review direct reports while performing quality control on completed work.
• Review and approve operational procedures and communicate non-compliant issues to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify performance trends and develop servicing, quality-control, reporting, and workflow improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, accounting, business, or equivalent education and experience.
• 8+ years of industry or relevant experience, typically including 2+ years at AVP level or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of experience in commercial real estate, cash management, loan servicing, or escrow management.
• Experience with industry software and Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data reconciliation.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, judgment, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage direct reports and work adjusted evening or weekend hours when required to meet deadlines.
