What you will do

• Support underground cable installation for power transmission, power distribution, renewable energy, and communication networks.
• Use hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Assist crews with construction, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications and electrical distribution systems.
• Maintain a safe and efficient jobsite.
• Help install protective casing and underground systems for electrical and communication cables.

Requirements

• 1–3 months of related construction, utility, or labor experience.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and equipment for underground cable installation.
• Reliability, teamwork, and accountability on the jobsite.
• Willingness to work under a union collective bargaining agreement.
• Valid driver’s license for the vehicles driven and an acceptable driving record.

Nice to have

• Commercial Driver’s License.
