TL;DR
Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer (Azure DevOps): Building and supporting CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, environments, monitoring, and operational tooling for business-critical software systems with an accent on release reliability, environment consistency, and production support. Focus on improving deployment repeatability, diagnosing build and production issues, strengthening observability, and coordinating release risks across engineering, QA, DBA, infrastructure, and security teams.
Location: Hybrid from the Budapest, Hungary office

What you will do
- Design, build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for internal applications and business-critical systems.
- Support release automation and deployments across development, QA, UAT, staging, and production environments.
- Improve configuration management, environment consistency, deployment repeatability, rollback readiness, and developer experience.
- Build automation scripts, deployment utilities, operational tools, and self-service capabilities using practical platform tooling.
- Support monitoring, logging, metrics, alerting, and observability across applications, pipelines, environments, and production dependencies.
- Participate in L2/L3 triage, incident response, root cause analysis, documentation, and remediation planning.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, platform engineering, release engineering, SRE, systems engineering, or a similar role.
- Strong experience building and maintaining production CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Practical experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Experience supporting multiple application environments, release validation, rollback planning, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Strong scripting and automation skills with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar tools, plus Git-based workflows.
- Ability to collaborate with software engineering, QA, DBA, infrastructure, security, product, delivery, and business stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with Windows Server, IIS, .NET, SQL Server, Active Directory, service accounts, and Azure services.
- Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, container registries, Kustomize, Helm, or bare-metal Kubernetes clusters.
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog, or Splunk.
- Experience with DevSecOps, software supply chain controls, vulnerability management, ERP, e-commerce, warehouse, or logistics platforms.
