Senior Marketing Events Manager (Life Sciences)

Location: Onsite in Burlington, Massachusetts, or Plainfield, Indiana, 4 days per week; travel up to 25%

Salary: $108,000–$135,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead strategic event programs across the Sample Management Solutions portfolio.
• Align event objectives with demand-generation and business strategies in collaboration with marketing stakeholders and leadership.
• Manage the full event lifecycle, including sourcing, contracting, registration, logistics, product shipments, onsite implementation, and post-event follow-up.
• Negotiate event spaces, speaking opportunities, and promotional options with conference organizers.
• Track event budgets, invoices, inventory, booth assets, technology tools, printed materials, and giveaways.
• Support thought leadership initiatives, key opinion leader engagements, and corporate events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of event management experience; life sciences experience and responsibility for large tradeshows or company events are preferred.
• Strong organizational, project management, communication, networking, and analytical skills.
• Experience negotiating and reviewing contracts.
• Familiarity with event management software and lead retrieval technology.
• Ability to work onsite in Burlington, MA, or Plainfield, IN, four days per week, and travel up to 25%.
