Sr. Associate, Cyber Security Architect

Location: Miami Coconut Grove Corp, United States. Full-time, onsite role. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship.

Base pay: $108,750–$180,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Design, govern, and continuously improve secure architecture across enterprise platforms, applications, cloud, hybrid, and on-premises infrastructure.
• Conduct threat modeling, security design reviews, and cybersecurity architecture risk assessments.
• Embed security controls early in projects by partnering with engineering, product, business, infrastructure, legal, and risk teams.
• Architect encryption for data at rest, in transit, and in use, including PKI, HSM, certificate lifecycle processes, and key custody models.
• Define cryptographic key management standards and oversee KMS-related architecture.
• Support regulatory examinations, audits, control validation, and architectural compliance activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in computer science, engineering, information technology management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of architecture experience in financial services or a similarly regulated industry.
• Experience with shift-left security, threat modeling, architecture risk assessments, and secure cloud architecture, primarily AWS.
• Expertise in PKI architecture and governance, HSM deployment and management, certificate lifecycle automation, KMS, TLS, mTLS, IPSec, and database encryption.
• Working knowledge of FFIEC, GLBA Safeguards Rule, NYDFS 23 NYCRR 500, PCI-DSS, NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53 and 800-57, and ISO/IEC 27001 and 27002.
• Must be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship.
