AI Security Architect

Location: Remote, United States

Base compensation: $170,000–$212,000 per year, with eligibility for discretionary bonus consideration.

What you will do

• Lead AI security working groups and design cybersecurity processes for secure enterprise AI solutions.
• Integrate security practices, data protection, and privacy controls throughout the AI development and deployment lifecycle.
• Design security solutions for AI and machine learning applications, including generative AI systems.
• Conduct threat modeling, adversarial testing, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning.
• Lead security incident investigations and recommend preventive measures.
• Ensure AI projects align with data protection laws and frameworks such as HITRUST and NIST.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, data science, or a related field.
• At least 12 years of experience across cybersecurity domains, including application security, security architecture, network security, and data protection.
• Strong knowledge of AI technologies, machine learning models, AI governance, adversarial attacks, and data privacy regulations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently, lead projects, solve complex problems, and apply security processes consistently.
• Must provide high-speed internet access and a dedicated, secure work area for remote work.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or AI ethics and security certifications.
