Quality Systems Engineer (Food Safety)

Location: Onsite in Susurluk, Balıkesir, Turkey. Candidates must reside in the Balıkesir area or be willing to relocate.

What you will do

• Lead quality and food safety management systems in the production facility, including BRCGS, IFS Food, Halal Food, Kosher Food, and KHMS requirements.
• Maintain, distribute, and monitor quality and food safety documentation.
• Plan and conduct internal audits and manage second- and third-party audit processes.
• Lead the HACCP team and track corrective and preventive actions.
• Support the design, development, and approval of thermal processes for microbiological control.
• Drive continuous improvement, change management, employee development, and cross-functional initiatives within the FSQ department.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Food Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience with quality management systems and BRCGS/IFS in production facilities.
• At least 5 years of management experience in the food industry.
• Good English proficiency is required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Residence in the Balıkesir area or willingness to relocate to Turkey is required.
