Regulatory Compliance Supervisor (Product Stewardship)

Location: On-site in the hirify.global office in Bracknell, UK; Wroclaw, Poland; Den Haag, Netherlands; or Istanbul, Turkey. At least four days per week on-site in the relevant country office.

What you will do

• Oversee EU and UK regulatory compliance for hardgoods across the product lifecycle.
• Lead risk assessments and resolve compliance issues to improve product safety.
• Guide engineering, design, and commercial teams on regulatory requirements and product commercialization.
• Manage compliance documentation and coordinate testing with external laboratories and internal quality and R&D teams.
• Monitor regulatory changes, assess product impact, and support internal audits and external inspections.
• Train teams on regulatory, safety, and compliance processes while leading direct reports and performance metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline.
• Significant experience in product compliance, product stewardship, sustainability, materials science, quality, regulatory affairs, or a related field.
• Previous project management and people management experience.
• Experience applying EN/ISO standards and frameworks, including CE, RoHS, REACH, WEEE, EMC, LVD, and GPSR.
• Ability to work on-site at least four days per week in the relevant country hirify.global office.
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to support global team needs and travel up to 10% domestically or internationally.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or higher in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or a related discipline.
• Experience with high-risk applications, global customers, regulatory bodies, and government agencies.
• Strong research, analytical, critical-thinking, communication, presentation, and public-speaking skills.
• Experience managing multiple global projects independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
