What you will do
- Lead the CAMEX country program and provide overall strategic direction, coordination, and management oversight.
- Represent IRC with government ministries, humanitarian coordination bodies, donors, international organizations, NGOs, and local partners.
- Guide the design and delivery of responsive, high-quality humanitarian and protection programs, including expansion across the region.
- Oversee public grants, private funds, budgets, financial controls, compliance systems, and timely reporting.
- Manage security risks and emergency responses while maintaining a strong culture of safety.
- Coach senior managers and develop diverse, multidisciplinary teams through mentoring, performance management, and staff-care initiatives.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in a relevant field preferred.
- At least 10 years of progressively responsible international experience, including country-director-level leadership of multisite, multisector operations in complex environments.
- Experience in conflict, post-conflict, or disaster-response settings and in managing rapidly changing security contexts.
- Professional fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English.
- Experience with donor-funded portfolios, fundraising, representation, budget oversight, and collaboration with international and local partners.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

- Experience strengthening partner-organization capacity and building strategic partnerships.
- Experience using technology in humanitarian or development response.
