Location: South Plainfield, New Jersey, United States; Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; normally performed in an office

Salary: $94,000–$117,000 base compensation per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain web and .NET applications, reusable components, and responsive user interfaces.
• Write clean, maintainable, and tested code, using AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and quality.
• Participate in requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with business analysts, designers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and improve usability.
• Create technical documentation for application features, development processes, and system implementations.
• Troubleshoot software defects and production issues and provide ongoing application support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
• 2–4 years of professional web application development experience.
• Strong experience with C#, object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, .NET Core/.NET 8, and ASP.NET Core MVC/Web API.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, frontend-to-backend integration, SQL Server, SQL, and Entity Framework Core.
• Experience with Vue.js or React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and component-based UI frameworks such as Element Plus or Bootstrap.
• Experience with Git, pull requests, and Agile development, plus strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Docker and containerization, Azure or AWS, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, OAuth/OpenID Connect, microservices, or message queues such as RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus.
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted coding tools.
