TL;DR
Software Engineer (C#/.NET): Building, enhancing, and improving an accounting platform across Angular SPAs, C#/.NET services, and SQL Server with an accent on full-stack development, distributed integrations, and scalable software delivery. Focus on designing end-to-end features, troubleshooting RabbitMQ and HTTP API integrations, and writing unit and integration tests within an Agile lifecycle.
Location: HQ - San Diego, California, United States; on-site role
Salary: $95,000-$125,000 per year, plus eligible discretionary cash and restricted stock unit bonus targets of 10% each.

What you will do
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack features for an accounting platform.
- Build Angular-based single-page applications and C#/.NET services backed by SQL Server.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and engineers throughout Agile planning, delivery, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot defects and production issues across distributed systems and integrations.
- Work with RabbitMQ message queues and HTTP APIs while documenting findings and improving development practices.
Requirements
- Intermediate-level software engineering experience with strong Agile and sprint-based delivery knowledge.
- Proficiency in .NET Framework, C#, Java, JavaScript, MVC, Angular 2+, TypeScript, jQuery, SQL Server, RabbitMQ, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Experience with source control and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, TFS, or Git.
- Knowledge of HTTP integration patterns, distributed systems, and messaging technologies.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests with VS Test, NUnit, or equivalent frameworks.
- Employment eligibility verification is required for work in the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Cursor, or Claude.
- Familiarity with Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring tools, observability, domain-driven design, or event-driven architecture.
- Experience with accounting, payments, deposits, or other financial workflow applications.
