Supplier & Partner Quality Lead (Nuclear)

Salary: $135,000–$175,000 annually, paid semi-monthly.

What you will do

• Build and administer supplier qualification, audit, surveillance, and approved-supplier processes graded to safety significance.
• Author supplier quality clauses and flow-down requirements for procurements and subcontracts in collaboration with Procurement and Legal/Contracts.
• Coordinate commercial-grade dedication using EPRI methodology and assess 10 CFR Part 21 applicability with Engineering and Procurement.
• Plan and lead supplier audits and surveillances as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor, documenting findings with objective evidence and managing them to closure.
• Define partner and joint-venture quality interfaces, map and risk-rank the supplier base, and establish performance monitoring and trending.
• Support customer and partner audit readiness for the supplier-assurance program.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in nuclear supplier quality or procurement quality, including leading supplier audits.
• Hands-on knowledge of commercial-grade dedication using EPRI methodology and 10 CFR Part 21.
• ASME NQA-1 supplier-audit experience and qualification, or immediate eligibility, as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor.
• Ability to travel approximately 25–40% for supplier audits and surveillance.
• Familiarity with NUPIC and NIAC audit programs, ISO 19443, and the member-utility supplier base.

Nice to have

• Experience qualifying first-of-a-kind or non-traditional suppliers, including advanced manufacturing, additive manufacturing, and new nuclear entrants.
• ASQ CQA or CSQP certification.
