Production Support Engineer (FinTech)

Location: Remote - APAC; APAC shift starting at 5:00 PM EST

What you will do

• Lead complex L2 escalations and provide hands-on troubleshooting for critical enterprise customer issues.
• Investigate recurring technical problems through root cause analysis with Support, Product, and Engineering.
• Improve escalation workflows through code, tooling, training, and process optimization to reduce L3 escalations.
• Create and maintain internal knowledge bases, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides, contributing to public documentation when needed.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in technical escalation or support engineering.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex distributed systems and APIs.
• Proficiency with SQL, Kubernetes, and Grafana.
• Experience driving process improvements and SLA performance.
• Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical findings to internal and external audiences.
• Understanding of FinTech concepts, API-driven financial platforms, and ITIL concepts; must be eligible to work without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with GCP, Golang, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Postgres performance tuning.
• Experience developing internal support automation tools.
• Experience contributing to public technical documentation or online securities trading.
