Location: Raritan, New Jersey, United States of America; hybrid work schedule with in-house work required.

Salary: $137,000–$235,750 annually, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus and long-term incentive program.

What you will do

  • Lead medical affairs and translational research partnerships for preclinical investigator-initiated studies, collaborative studies, and company-sponsored studies involving biomarker objectives.
  • Tri­age biomarker and preclinical research proposals from concept through execution in collaboration with disease area leads.
  • Coordinate stakeholder communications, review agendas, governance reviews, and final decisions for research proposals and study concepts.
  • Develop biomarker and preclinical strategy for worldwide medical affairs evidence-generation plans and IIS frameworks.
  • Track study statuses, interim and final data read-outs, contracts, material transfer agreements, and publication timelines.
  • Capture process metrics and analytics, implement improvements, and build strategic relationships with external research partners.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in a life sciences or health sciences discipline.
  • Broad knowledge of disease, predictive, and diagnostic biomarkers, scientific methodologies, and analytical techniques.
  • Strong collaboration, relationship-building, critical thinking, communication, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Four or more years of relevant biopharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with translational research, genomics medicine, principal investigators, research staff, or biomarker analyses is beneficial.
  • Approximately 10% domestic or international travel is required; the role is based in Raritan, New Jersey, with hybrid in-house work.

Nice to have

  • Advanced scientific degree.
  • Laboratory experience in translational research or genomics medicine.
  • Experience as an industry medical liaison with oncology translational research responsibilities.
