What you will do

• Manage daily news show production and own story selection, placement, rundown timing, and editorial direction.
• Vet sources, assess newsworthiness, and shape the editorial angle of each story.
• Execute live shows from the control room and make rapid decisions during breaking news.
• Coordinate with associate, graphics, assignment desk, production, and technical teams.
• Support special news programming and field coordination beyond the daily news cycle.
• Back-time shows and adjust rundowns while on air.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Journalism or Communications.
• At least 5 years of line producing or producing experience.
• Strong news judgment and current knowledge of the news landscape.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills, written and oral.
• Experience with social media platforms and iNews or a similar newsroom system such as Dalet.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
