Physician Assistant - Critical Care

What you will do

• Manage patients admitted to the 12-bed closed Intermediate Care Unit.
• Participate in admissions, transfers, and consultative evaluations for patients on other inpatient units.
• Conduct nightly team-based rounds as part of an overnight care team.
• Document patient care in the electronic medical record.
• Participate in Critical Care Service quality assurance and quality improvement activities.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in an acute care setting.
• Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner qualification suitable for critical care practice.
• Ability to provide overnight in-house coverage from 17:00 to 07:00.
• Ability to collaborate with two advanced practice providers and a board-certified intensivist.
