Emergency Medicine Physician

Location: NENA Chelmsford; Lowell, Massachusetts, United States. The role is based across two Lowell General Hospital emergency department campuses.

Salary: $342,000–$393,418 annually, plus hourly compensation and an RVU-based productivity bonus.

What you will do

• Provide emergency medical care across the Lowell General Hospital Main and Saints campuses.
• Work in a combined emergency department system handling approximately 90,000 visits annually.
• Manage cases in a Level III Trauma Center and primary PCI Center.
• Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, anesthesia, OB, pediatric, and multispecialty teams.
• Use Epic, which is deployed throughout the hospital system.

Requirements

• Board certification or board eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
• Availability for approximately 1,400–1,600 clinical hours annually.
• Ability to work onsite across the Lowell General Hospital emergency departments in Massachusetts.
• Eligible for the required medical licenses; license fees are covered by the group.

• Interest in nocturnist coverage, with an additional shift differential and potential for reduced annual hours or a fixed schedule.
