Data Analytics Engineer (Power BI)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid work model with two remote days per week and regular office attendance

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end delivery of advanced Power BI reports, dashboards, and governed analytics products.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into report designs, KPIs, user stories, semantic models, measures, and calculations.
• Build reusable Power BI components and implement complex DAX logic, row-level security, and object-level security.
• Optimize dataset and report performance through model design, aggregations, partitioning, incremental refresh, and query tuning.
• Collaborate with data engineering and Operations/SRE teams on source structures, pipelines, transformations, SLAs, monitoring, and data validation.
• Use Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines to version, test, deploy, document, and govern Power BI assets within a Scrum team.

Requirements

• Several years of hands-on experience delivering end-to-end Power BI solutions in complex business environments.
• Expert knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, DAX, TMDL, Field Parameters, and Calculation Groups.
• Strong data modeling skills, including dimensional and star schemas, semantic modeling, and solid SQL experience.
• Proven experience with Git and CI/CD for BI or reporting solutions.
• Experience working with data engineers and Operations/SRE teams on SLAs, monitoring, and validation.
• Strong communication skills and experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, BI architecture, governance, and ETL/ELT data integration tools.
• Experience in large international organizations.
• Microsoft certifications such as PL-300.
