Data Engineer in Risk Reporting (Python/SAS)

Location: Warszawa (Pańska 97), Poland

Salary: 9,600–18,000 PLN per month for Senior Specialist positions; 13,000–22,000 PLN per month for Expert positions.

hirify.global Poland provides data management and risk reporting services for international ING teams, including reporting in risk areas located in the Netherlands.

What you will do

• Support the creation of data marts and develop automated data-processing solutions.
• Design and implement data models for analytical and reporting needs.
• Design and implement reporting dashboards based on credit risk data.
• Build ETL workflows and collaborate with data architects to optimize scalable data structures.
• Collect, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Prepare functional and non-functional documentation.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mathematics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field, and/or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in data reporting and data management, including data modeling and reporting solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SAS 4GL or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, SAS Visual Analytics, or IBM Cognos.
• Good English proficiency; C1 is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with data warehouse environments.
• Experience with ETL data processing using different tools.
• Knowledge of Business Lending, Consumer Lending, or Credit Risk Management.
