Registered Nurse, R3- Intermediate Care, New Competitive Pay!

Location: Lowell General Hospital, 1 Hospital Drive, Lowell, Massachusetts; Riley 3 (R3) Unit, Saints Campus. Evening/night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week. Weekend and holiday commitment required.

Pay range: $37.50–$68.47 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide direct nursing care to intermediate-care patients and their families.
• Conduct and document clinical assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Use nursing judgment to manage patient assignments, delegate care, and coordinate with the healthcare team.
• Develop patient and family education plans and comprehensive discharge plans with appropriate referrals.
• Apply evidence-based practice and research while participating in performance improvement and departmental committees.
• Support new staff development and guide professional growth through precepting.

Requirements

• Massachusetts RN licensure required.
• 12 months to less than 3 years of RN experience required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and the healthcare team.
• Knowledge and application of the nursing process.
• Ability to lift and turn patients, stand and walk for extended periods, and work around infectious diseases, blood-borne pathogens, and potentially carcinogenic chemicals.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Department-specific certifications relevant to the patient population and care provided.
