Senior Data Engineer (Databricks), Brazil

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud data infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and usability.
• Integrate data quality practices and implement data governance, including catalog and lineage.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for ETL processes.
• Implement dimensional data models and Data Lake/Data Warehouse solutions.
• Document data workflows and architectures, and provide technical troubleshooting support.

Requirements

• Good English communication skills at C1 level or above are mandatory.
• Proven experience with modern cloud data engineering stacks.
• Professional experience with the Databricks platform is required.
• Strong knowledge of Spark, Python, and SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD for ETL processes, dimensional data modeling, and Data Lake/Data Warehouse implementations.

Nice to have

• Databricks certification.
• Experience with international clients.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Power BI.
• Familiarity with data quality, Unity Catalog-based data governance, or FinOps for data.
