What you will do

• Research, plan, design, document, develop, test, and deploy software that meets business requirements.
• Design and implement new or modified applications, systems, programs, and processes using Java and applicable technologies.
• Troubleshoot deployed software, resolve errors, and improve application performance and security.
• Evaluate application changes against business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with end users and product owners to prototype, refine, test, and debug solutions.
• Provide technical analysis and contribute to continuous improvement of software development practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, or a related field is typically required.
• At least 2 years of software development experience.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle protocols.
• Knowledge of the applicable programming language, including Java.
• Ability to translate business and technical requirements into software solutions.
• Understanding of software development standards related to security, performance, and resiliency.
