Associate Customer Sales Manager (CPG/Retail)

Location: Minneapolis Sales Office, hybrid work-from-home and in-office attendance 2–3 days per week

Base salary: $89,800–$112,200 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Plan and execute categories representing more than $100 million in revenue with Target.
• Analyze raw and syndicated data across distribution, assortment, pricing, and promotion metrics.
• Develop selling priorities, reports, tracking tools, forecasts, and annual business plans.
• Collaborate with customer business teams and internal partners to drive sales growth and identify category opportunities.
• Support category management, sales planning, shelving objectives, and customer P&L accuracy.
• Create concise presentations communicating business findings and recommendations.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills and experience working with multiple large data sets.
• Strong quantitative and financial analysis skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel expertise.
• Polished written, verbal, presentation, and PowerPoint communication skills.
• Ability to negotiate, influence, work autonomously, and prioritize in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in CPG or retail merchandising.
• Experience with sales forecasting and analysis.
• Experience with trade planning, revenue management, or P&L management.
• Experience with category insights and management.
