Care Technician (Healthcare)

Location: Tamuning, Guam; onsite at a health center

What you will do

• Interview patients and measure vital signs, including pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient health records.
• Prepare treatment rooms and clean and sterilize medical instruments.
• Perform routine CLIA-waived laboratory tests, operate EKG and other diagnostic equipment, and collect specimens.
• Assist with administrative operations, including front-desk coverage, appointment scheduling, follow-up calls, and ordering medical supplies.

Requirements

• Current Basic Life Support certification with hands-on training from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider is required.
• Experience in a health center, doctor's office, patient-care, or long-term-care setting.
• Associate's degree or equivalent training from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records is preferred.
