Senior Market Fundamental Analyst (NGL/Petchem)

hirify.global's analytics team supports trading and strategic decisions across global NGL and petrochemical markets.

What you will do

• Analyze global oil, NGL, and petrochemical markets, including regional flows, pricing hubs, demand centers, infrastructure, shipping constraints, and contract structures.
• Build and maintain mid-term supply-demand forecast models for NGLs and petrochemical derivatives.
• Run scenario analyses covering policy shifts, demand shocks, infrastructure outages, and weather events.
• Lead monthly market updates for the 2–5 year outlook and provide ad hoc analysis of headline-driven events.
• Write market reports and present recommendations to traders, senior stakeholders, and internal strategy forums.
• Coordinate with oil, gas, clean products, trading, and origination teams to align models and commercial strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in NGL or petrochemical trading, market analysis, or related roles.
• Proven experience building market models and delivering strategic insights.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Databricks for data analysis and visualization.
• Experience with Python, R, SQL, and data science tools.
• Strong communication, storytelling, independent working, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in crude, clean products, carbon, or power markets.
• Ability to apply a value-chain perspective to market analytics.
