TL;DR
Corporate Audit Specialist (m/f/x) (Accounting and Internal Audit): Examining financial statements, operational and internal controls, and business processes across subsidiaries, service centers, plants, acquisitions, and critical operations with an accent on control evaluation, data analysis, and process improvement. Focus on conducting stakeholder walkthroughs, selecting statistical samples, documenting findings, and following up on remediation across EMEA.
Location: Wrocław, Poland — on-site working model with at least four days per week in the office. Travel may include up to 25% domestic and international travel, including one week across EMEA every six weeks.

What you will do
- Examine and report on the accuracy of financial statements and the adequacy of operational and internal controls.
- Audit subsidiaries, service centers, plants, acquisitions, and critical business processes.
- Conduct interviews and walkthroughs with stakeholders to identify control gaps and operational improvements.
- Analyze data and select samples for process testing, including statistical sampling where applicable.
- Document, summarize, and communicate audit findings and recommendations.
- Follow up on the resolution of audit findings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or finance from an accredited university or college.
- At least five years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Experience in internal or external audit.
- Business-level fluency in English and strong oral and written communication skills.
- Availability for on-site work in Wrocław at least four days per week and travel across EMEA.
Nice to have
- Strong analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP and Power BI.
- CIA, CPA, CMA, or an equivalent local certification.
- Working knowledge of statistical sampling methodologies.
