Field Construction Coordinator (Natural Gas Pipeline)

Location: Amarillo, Texas, United States; field work in customer premises and other assigned areas may be required, with a possible residence requirement for call-out response time.

What you will do

• Coordinate natural gas system construction and maintenance projects using internal resources and external contractors.
• Monitor project progress to ensure safe, cost-effective, and timely completion.
• Act as the primary contact for customers, contractors, government agencies, vendors, and company resources during construction.
• Review material usage, process-related invoices, project records, and regulatory reports.
• Apply current construction techniques, materials, standards, and regulations for natural gas pipelines and related facilities.
• Respond to natural gas emergencies and identify, report, and resolve safety and encroachment issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four years of natural gas construction and maintenance and/or pipeline operations field experience, with Sr Level status in construction maintenance or pipeline operations.
• Current Operator Qualifications and classroom training; additional required qualifications, training, and certifications must be obtained within six months.
• Current Competent Person certification and a valid driver's license; a CDL and welding certificate may be required.
• Working knowledge of software applications for data entry, reference, and information retrieval.
• Ability to perform physically demanding field work, work outdoors in all weather conditions, enter confined spaces and customer premises, and participate in emergency call-outs, shifts, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
