Ride Technician - Full Time, SeaWorld San Diego

Location: hirify.global San Diego, United States; on-site work with varying shifts, including a full month of night shifts, weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late evenings.

Salary: 37.00 USD per hour

What you will do

• Inspect, maintain, install, and repair rides, attractions, elevators, and moving walkways.
• Disassemble and overhaul motors, gearboxes, gear motors, hydraulic power units, accumulators, and related controls.
• Work with computer-controlled equipment, PLC programmable controllers, pneumatic systems, compressors, air dryers, and pneumatic valves.
• Maintain low-voltage electrical systems and operate precise measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, and volt-ohmmeters.
• Complete daily inspections, work orders, maintenance certification exams, quality assurance audits, and ride-area cleaning.
• Provide positive guest service and interact professionally with guests and coworkers from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age and able to use hand tools properly.
• Valid California driver's license required; qualifying out-of-state residents, active military members, dependents, and students must provide a valid license from their state of residence and a DMV report.
• Provide a personal set of tools and a secure storage solution.
• Complete company vehicle driver training and obtain a site driver’s license.
• Read, write, and speak English; demonstrate mathematical, written, verbal, computer, pneumatic, and high-elevation equipment skills.
