Senior Business / Enterprise Architect

Location: Utrecht, Netherlands; hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office or on client site, and potentially up to 5 days per week on a client site.

What you will do

• Design integrated enterprise architectures spanning business, applications, data, and infrastructure.
• Develop business and IT strategies, policies, transformation roadmaps, and target operating models.
• Analyse end-to-end operational resilience across people, processes, and technology.
• Work with clients on digital, Agile, cultural, and organizational change initiatives.
• Lead stakeholders, manage projects and deliverables, and translate architectural visions into concrete actions.
• Contribute to sales initiatives, Thought Leadership, and the growth of consulting propositions.

Requirements

• At least 5–7 years of consulting experience working with clients and shaping solutions, preferably with an active network in financial or professional services, manufacturing, or the public sector.
• Proven experience as an Enterprise, Domain, and/or Solution Architect, with expertise in one or more relevant architecture specialisms.
• Experience creating end-to-end architecture and defining IT strategy and business architecture, supported by an MSc, MBA, or relevant academic background.
• Experience modelling business processes, working with client teams, diagnosing complex issues, and delivering solutions.
• Experience as a Scrum Master and strong analytical, planning, presentation, negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English, with willingness to work internationally.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with customer experience platforms, integration platforms, rapid application development frameworks, digital marketing and automation, customer and data analytics, and data-driven ways of working.
• Experience contributing to Thought Leadership and sales initiatives.
