Summer 2027 Commercial Credit/Banking Intern - Investment Real Estate

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina, United States; onsite at 501 Fayetteville Street

What you will do

• Participate in credit and banking systems training focused on investment real estate lending.
• Support credit analysts, portfolio managers, and commercial lenders with commercial portfolio tracking, administration, and growth.
• Perform financial spreading and analysis, cash flow analysis, collateral analysis, and credit underwriting activities.
• Shadow commercial lenders and business partners during outside business calls.
• Collaborate with Private Banking, Treasury Management, Wealth/Brokerage, Business Banking, and Commercial Administration teams.
• Complete projects, attend intern events and training, and interact with business leaders and executives.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor's program.
• Major in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related area.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• No prior professional experience required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment-based visa sponsorship is not available.
• Demonstrate analytical ability, communication skills, teamwork, accountability, integrity, and willingness to learn.
