Summer 2027 Commercial Credit/Banking Intern - Raleigh, NC

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina, United States; primary office at 501 Fayetteville Street

What you will do

• Participate in credit, systems, corporate, and intern training programs.
• Support credit analysts, portfolio managers, and commercial lenders in tracking, administering, and growing the commercial portfolio.
• Perform financial spreading, credit analysis, cash flow analysis, and collateral analysis.
• Shadow commercial lenders and business partners during outside business calls.
• Interact with Private Banking, Treasury Management, Wealth/Brokerage, Business Banking, and Commercial Administration teams.
• Complete projects and assignments while following established work plans, deadlines, risk controls, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor's program.
• Major in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related area.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• No prior professional experience required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment-based visa sponsorship is not provided.
